The Swamp

I discovered this swamp by complete accident while I was out hiking one day. By discovered I mean my leg disappeared up to my knee in it. This is the type of swamp in which you expect to find two, diminutive, hairy-footed people following an emaciated, hairless, monkey.

There's a guy in the tree!

The wooden figure that has been the subject of a couple post will been seen more often. He is going to be the subject of as many blog posts as I can fit him in. He is Mr.Objective.

This Big Hill

This is the same farm across the street. I climbed up this big hill and when I turned around I knew I had to take a photo. But I didn't have my camera. So I hiked back down and then back up and got this wonderful shot.

Frozen Fingers Section

Talk about cold hands! I had to hold my hand to a window that had half an inch of ice on it for almost a minute to get this photo! That is suffering for art. 

Welcome Home

Walking around antique shops and sheds is a good way to find stuff to take pictures of. This tin doll house grabbed my attention and the photo make me want to climb inside.

Blue Skies

This is the hill across from my house. How cool is that. I dont need to go to New England for good landscape photos.

I'm already there.

Roots

These roots were an amazing discover in a swamp close by. I found them on a photo hike earlier this year.

This old farm road has been has been the subject of many of my photo shooting adventures.

This photos potential was not discovered until I got it into the editing software. Colors seemed to come from nowhere. I was pretty phsyched. I thought it was cool before now it was like Mordor cool.

The top one is of a marble I actually found during a photography class.
